Arduino is freaking awesome.
Those clever cats at IDEO have bought to life one of the concepts from Martin Bone and Kara Johnson’s book ‘I Miss My Pencil’. The system uses RFID so that you can create mixtapes by placing different cards (representing tracks) on the vinyl playing surface.
They call it c60 redux & it is a lovely way to make the experience of playing digital music physical.
We have been busily beavering away with our Kinect this week and have knocked up a few quick demo videos of some of the apps we have built (using Processing, OpenFrameworks & Flash/AS3).
